How to set variable to be opened word file

Hello all!

Sorry but just didn't manage to find it on the web. I have already opened word file. now i need statement like this:

Set wrdDoc = file("c:\fd.doc")

Please help since i have no idea how to do this an it's problematically to find. thanks in advance
