I'm trying to find out why macros take varying times to run. I can run a macro that takes 16 seconds to complete the first time, 22 seconds the second time, 33 the third. If I close & reopen the workbook it starts the cycle again. I see you don't have to clear variables at the end of a procedure, but I'm wondering if it's that that's causing it? Has anyone else come across this before? It happens with any code so I can't blame a particular macro
